Listen, I'm not gonna claim to know how complicated or time consuming the unvaulting process is gonna be. However, the whole making the community wait an entire year seems like a really bad idea on Bungies part. There's been no mention if there will be new events in that time or any hold over content to keep the community engaged between now and then. Most of my friends who were excited for the unvaulting that hopped back on to gear up for it have left after finding out it was gonna be a year before any of the content was released and I'm sure they aren't the only ones who have done the same. If Bungie wants to keep interest in D2 and keep returning players engaged they are going to have to do something to keep players engaged or they are going to have to rethink how they do this unvaulting stuff. To me the best way I can think of them changing how they unvault content is doing it in waves. Starting with the Red War then curse of Osiris then Warminds and so on throughout the next year or so. That way players have a semi consistent flow of new content every 3 to 4 months this way players stay engaged and destiny stay on everyone's radar over this coming year. As it is now the games player count is going to dwindle down to almost nothing again and destiny will burn out again. Then when they do unvault content there won't be any hype or excitement for it in my opinion. It just seems like a whole year of the monument of triumph is gonna get stale and drive even the most die hard fans to pick up something else in the long run. Once again I have no idea how complicated this process is going to be for Bungie, but they better figure out something to bridge that gap content wise or else the unvaulting won't matter.

I’m not saying you’re wrong. But I think Bungie’s plan isn’t to make interest in D2. It’s to make D2 whole again so they can build confidence with their customers again and have the possibility to sell them new Destiny games in the future. But, if they want to keep beating the snot out of D2 & keep people interested in D2 - I’d agree with your opinion. I just don’t think that their plan.

19 RepliesYou gotta admit...it's kinda funny seeing so many people complain about drip fed content.... And then have ppl demand drip fed content. I know we all different... so perhaps yall shoulda been CONFORMING to this universe instead of making the game your personal experience.

11 RepliesThe unvaulting is "free"... Nothing is free... They are probably working on it in-between other things... Would you rather have nothing? Respect the effort... Respect the time... Game dev is not magic... Rant.. Post...

You haven't learned in school how to use paragraphs...smh

Paragraphs are your friend. 🤣 Just a friendly jibe, everything you said makes sense. To another non-developer that is. I think the best way to unvaulting it for us would be:- 1. Red War content but stagger the 3 raids releases 2. CoO and Warmind but stagger the remaining 2 raids 3. Forsaken content. Constant work and focus with time to improve or delay each content release. Trying to unvaulting all the content in one go and then dump it on us all at once is beyond stupid. The one thing that makes me think they are actually going to do this anyway is the way they worded the production process. The final bullet point in the “Restoring Destiny and Our First Step” section says •”From that point we expect full production will be about 12mos. to fully complete the porting process. It’s a lot of content.” Emphasis on the word “fully”. Maybe I’m clutching at straws, or this is clever tactics by Bungie by making us beg them to release it piecemeal to forestall the complaints of them doing so, allowing them to say, “Well this is what you wanted, right?”.

6 RepliesI agree, releasing the content in waves instead of all at once seems like the best way to do it. Just be prepared for the shills to reply to your post with stuff like "stop complaining", "be grateful", or "play something else".

5 RepliesThat would definitely seem preferable from my perspective as well. A ‘drip feed’ delivery could help to maintain interest by delivering content (albeit old content) for people to play.
