Hello,
I’m experiencing a persistent WEASEL error when trying to play Destiny 2 on a brand-new Steam account.
I previously played Destiny 2 on another Steam account on the exact same PC and internet connection, and it works perfectly.
I recently purchased Destiny 2 and its expansions on my new Steam account. I created a new Bungie profile and new characters, but every time I select either my Warlock or Hunter, I receive error code WEASEL.
Troubleshooting already performed:
* Verified integrity of Destiny 2 game files through Steam.
* Confirmed the new Steam account is linked to its own Bungie profile.
* Confirmed Cross Save is not activated.
* Confirmed Discord is not linked.
* Tested multiple characters.
* Confirmed the old Steam account still works perfectly on the same PC and network.
I’ve never successfully loaded into the game world on this new account.
Could someone investigate whether there is an account authentication or server-side issue affecting my new Steam account?
Thank you.
