Was really excited for this news initially but this was all so disappointing. If you don't bring back tiered loot there is no point to play any of this.
There was no major mention of tiered loot outside of raids. And that's a huge problem. Making people wait two years is too long already.
If there's no new tiered loot to chase, don't bother with any of this. Seriously.

Fun that's the reason to play. While yes tired loot would be nice I'm looking forward to replaying old stuff and getting to do leviathan with my clan. It'll be fun for sure

1 Replyof course it’s gonna be all tier fives with the new perks, seriously? There’s no way they would bring all this back . impossible

20 RepliesMaybe don’t bother playing. I’m happy to wait for the PROGRESS bar update. 2028 is fine. I work 7 days a week; I can wait and chip away at my backlog. I like how we’re over a year away from potential unvaulting, and people are already losing their minds. Find something to do.

Ya what a waste of time, just make D3 and stop wasting time with this nonsense

2 RepliesThe nerve of some people. I'd rather have the content actually out that we PAID for rather than crying like a baby over a tiered system. Maybe instead of acting like an entitled brat like most of these sheep, maybe wait until they give us back the content that Sony told them to vault.

3 RepliesSo you need tiered guns or you can't do anything?
-
7 RepliesI know that mentioned Reprised Rewards for the Raids and failed to mention that for other activities, but they know they have to drop Tiered Loot. No one is going to let them get away with the bare minimum now. DMG's Twitter has been open for questions. So far that has been asked for clarification, and hopefully will be addressed.

2 RepliesIf they don't keep tiered loot, they're excluding half the reason to play the reprised/ unvaulted content. At least I know I won't be playing them.

I was expecting them to at least bring back the Red War by mid-2027 at the latest, but they're asking a community whose patience is already worn thin to wait two whole years for everything. Hopefully they'll expand more on whether tiered loot will be included in the unvaulting, but I'm sure their next announcement in February will be another letdown too.

So we get a substantial update on destiny's future... Resurrected a previously ended game... all the community... From all corners of the globe excited for any kind of future... And yet still... I'm pretty sure they'll do everything that they can with the resources at hand and anything concrete will still be months out... Just ride the good waves for a few... We all have concerns... But let the good news settle for a few.... Post...

34 RepliesYall are so ungrateful it’s crazy. Is it not ideal, yes. However the game was killed a few months ago so any future for this game is better than the alternative. It will take time but by playing content like this it will continue to show interest and pave a bigger future for the franchise.

4 Replies2028 is too long, even if it is a goodwill project. Gives you an idea on how far off a D3 would be too at that rate.
Menagerie Activity with reprised rewards
It’s also a safe bet that there are going to be rewards coming in the Destiny 2 celebration content they plan on releasing before the unvaulted content. Raid and raid lair loot isn’t even listed as guaranteed to be coming with the initial update.
For example, we know aspirational content like legacy Raids needs a deeper chase even if we may not able to address it upfront.
