Chat Censors Disrupt Basic Communication
Simple words such as "difficulty" and "about" are censored in text chat.
These are not the only words that need uncensored, and I'm 99% sure someone touched a regex the wrong way.
What's worse is that the "allow some profanity from" setting is COMPLETELY IGNORED.
What's the point of giving us a setting that does nothing?
How am I meant to use text chat when half an E-rated sentence gets randomly covered in asterisks?
Sometimes the censor uses music notes for the actually inappropriate words, please keep that one.
The music notes are an example of a working filter.

sheesh, we're definitely being silenced here I'd say make sure to swear twice as much on ANY game that allows it, to compensate for any game that don't.

1 Replyhonestly i don’t understand why so many games censor chats, like the clearly offensive stuff sure. no reason to be censoring the word shìt in 2026
-
We would be better off without a censor
-
Censored 'method' earlier for me, presumably because '-blam!-' is in that sequence. This auto-moderator system is actually worse than not having one.
-
I agree with this. Having to type sentences out on a controller when you're in the middle of something is frustrating enough... now add an over-extented filter.

1 ReplyIt censored "ridiculous" for me earlier.
-
1 ReplyIt censored anti-barrier for me last night hahaha 😆

It filters out lots of common words. Broken is broken. No more updates, games done, it is what it is. Play more, talk less. Anyways of course chat should work normally and only filter out curse words etc.

Whats funny is how the stupid censor ship makes casual messages look like insane insults lmao.

10 RepliesAbout will be banned because it contains a racial slur.

I kept matching someone in comp the other day and kept beating him, eventually he messaged me calling me a British slang term for cigarette, removing the a in it to bypass the censor. I replied “sorry we keep matching you” and the system censored “matching” lol.
-
“Raids” censored also
-
Sensitive people can’t handle big words so a sensitive studio held their hand and gave them censorship so they feel smart.

Ya it's kinda ridiculous that's for sure... Should be an easy fix Three rooms Kids chat... General chat filtered... Adult chat unfiltered... But moderated because shenanigans... Problem solved... Post....
