QP timeout
If you are not gonna bother balancing teams, addressing the connection or properly banning the cheaters then don't force people to stay in matches with uneven teams, lag and hard cheaters. Especially when you join a game half way through and get timed out because you leave after being supered on spawn 3 times.

1 ReplyNobody is forcing you to launch crucible and nobody is forcing you to quit either. Save yourself a step and quit crucible for the day if games aren't favorable. You’re setting yourself up to load in for coin-flip teamplay experience just to make it worse for you and your team by leaving. Private matches are somewhat popular if you find some people who want to have fun without the gamble.

If you know what you’re risking by queuing then don’t play if you’re just going to quit. There’s an influx of New Lights that I’m sure would love some help and guidance. Your entire team faces the exact same issues as you when there is a cheater in the lobby, you leaving just lessens the already low chance of winning even more and makes it harder for everyone else that has to pick up the slack. You get rewards for losing anyway, just tough it out and win the next. KD doesn’t really mean much nowadays anyway with how small the community is now and how much crutch gear infests Crucible. Crucible was never meant to be the focus of Destiny anyway, some people take it far too seriously. Especially with the game more h the a likely not receiving any new content other than the un-vaulting update and we probably won’t see that until somewhere around July of 2027 due to Bungie’s limited staff team right now. So just have fun, Bungie already did a mass-ban on cheaters not too long ago so I’m sure there’s gonna be a second purge again soon to (hopefully) finish the job. Just my thoughts.

3 RepliesPro tip... You don't get penalized if... you don't quit... Not that hard... K/D and win rates elo... Mean nothing... Destiny PVP is an arcade side mode... You can't go "pro" in destiny... It's quick play... Your ego will survive... People are so fragile nowadays For everyone's sake if you can't handle it take a break and go play a farm sim or something Rant... Post....

2 RepliesAlso... cheating is not cool but I haven't seen any of the stuff everyone is on about... Not once... But that doesn't mean it doesn't exist or isn't a problem... General Lag sure... Lag switching sure.... But Giant guardians? Heavy spam? Infinite supers? Nothing in PVP I've seen... Only once on patrol was a guy killing guardians with a sniper... clearly hacking involved... Reported and went about my day not that difficult Just take the loss report everyone involved ... People need to Help rather than complaining and being a coward Rant... Post...

What's worse is they will give you bad teammates repeatedly all day long. I'm running a positive k/d today in iron banner and i don't even have fully upgraded gear, i only have the 2 piece bonus atm because i don't have enough mats atm to upgrade or experiment with switching to different items. I don't have any raid weapons, some are good pvp options, i don't have the right rolls for most things, i dont have all my titan abilities unlocked yet, getting there, and somehow im still carrying my own weight. I focus on zone capping. But they put me with people who stand behind me as im getting heavy so i cant even back up. Almost like they do it on purpose.

6 RepliesYeah, I agree and I'll further it. If you have a bad connection to a game, quit. Maybe your replacement won't be as bad. If it's your 2nd or 3rd side of a mercy--bail early. Mostly, oif you're not having fun, quit. Use the 5 minutes to reset and refocus then carry on. Sometimes I'll do some invasions or run a quick solo op to get back to a good place.
