Always sending fireteam invites manually because the summoning function doesn’t work half the time - and that’s a generous estimate.
Why don’t people join!? Why!? It costs you nothing! Why are you sitting there waiting and ultimately forcing me to use “summon fireteam” only to sit there and wait for five minutes while I’m looking at the loading symbols until I have to log out to go back and make another post. Why …!?

2 RepliesHonestly, if I apply to join, I usually run to take care of the bathroom, then refresh my ice and water and look at my screen to see if anything has started. This may take a minute of so, but if I hear the sound that the poster has gathered the team I'm back. If not, I'm getting refreshments. I may not see your "just join already" message until then.

1 ReplyI used to allow invites, but I'm a crucible player. 99% of the time that you get an invite or friend request in the crucible, it's not because they wanna team up, it's because they wanna be able to send you hate mail. So I just blocked all invites on my account. *Is that all you know how to do is hard-scope lanes with your scout? *You're a cheater *You're trash *Please never play crucible again *MIDA is easy mode. Learn how to play with an actual weapon. *Sidearms are for no-skill trash players. Etc, etc. it gets old.

2 RepliesSome of the time when I get the invite and I try to join I get the message. Can’t join the fire team. If the person does not join that is most probably the reason. Try to pull them if they don’t join. Most of the time when I can’t join the person pulls the fire team Sometimes they boot.

4 RepliesFunny way of blaming the players for something that is wrong with the game, and not everyone is up to date with this bug on the Fireteam Finder, a lot of people don’t know…

A lot of times the invite fails. Go to join and it says “unable to join”. At least, in my experiences both inviting and getting invited. But I also then move to chat to inform said player if the invite fails.

There are a ton of server issues, nat differences and internet issues that can cause people to not receive or join invites. It's a double-edge sword with the FF.

4 RepliesFun fact, the android fireteam app doesn't have a join button so you just sit there

3 RepliesA lot of people have their privacy set to invite only

I personally keep the fire team finder post up due to disconnect so those that where affected can rejoin after reconnecting. Use the in game text chat to tell players to join, if they do not or never respond just remove them and get another player. Enjoy Destiny 2 Guardian 🫡🍻
