Covering two different possible things, so it'll be length. First thing: Was cross-save already active prior to you linking the Steam account to your Bungie profile? if it was already active then you have likely ran into an older bug that prevents accounts added post-setup to be automatically included in the cross-save config. BNGHelp will likely check this when they get back in the office and see this, but if it is the issue here then you will be faced with having to deactivate cross-save, wait the 90 days, and finally reactivate cross-save so that the Steam is there from the initial setup. If its not the above then second thing: - Open your Steam client, click your name on the top right, and click account details. you'll see [name]'s account. Make a note of the part before the apostrophe S, " 's ", bit. - Open an incognito/safe browsing etc browser tab - whatever your browser offers as its 'private/safe' whatever mode - Navigate to Bungie.net - Sign in to Bungie.net using the Steam, do not use any autofill - Type the account name you noted above, and the password. One of two things will happen: - You get signed into your posting account which means there's another issue that BNGHelp will likely need to investigate. - You get given the sign up/link account popup which unfortunately means the account you're signing into (as long as you followed the steps above correctly) is not the same one as you have linked to your Bungie account. If you get the sign up/link account prompt then the most likely situation is that you have a different Steam account linked than the one you are signing into the game as. BNGHelp will often provide the Steam ID linked to players so they can compare it in their client to the one they're signed into. If its a wrongly linked account then there is a possible route to fixing it by filling in the data private form here to get the currently linked Steam account unlinked, so you can go through the linking process again to include the correct one. This is done at Bungies discretion and will have steps such as providing ID that you need to go through

Hey there, could you have added Steam using your Steam registered email address and Steam password, rather than Steam login name and password? Because Steam supports multiple accounts on the same email address, the above method adds a different profile to the one you actually access on the Steam client using your Steam login name. One possible way to tell, is 'bengilly1224' your Steam login name? If so, it could be that you used the former method. If you add it using your login then what you'd see here on Bungie.net is your Steam profile name there instead (like on mine, it shows as EckyThump, which is just a profile name, not the username I use to actually log into my account).
