Ice Breaker Exotic drop issue / Vesper's Host Bad Luck Protection feedback
Hello,
I am writing to share my feedback and request a check regarding the drop rate of the "Ice Breaker" exotic sniper rifle from the Vesper's Host dungeon.
I have cleared the final encounter multiple times (over 15 times) and I have also completed the specific drop-rate booster Triumphs. Despite this, the weapon has yet to drop.
I would like to know if there is an ongoing issue with the bad luck protection or the cumulative triumph boosts for Vesper's Host on certain accounts. If everything is working as intended, please forward this to the development team as feedback: the RNG for dungeon exotics feels extremely punishing for dedicated players.

I feel your pain. I’ve got 35 clears. No IB.

2 Replies15 is light work. Took me nearly 30 clears to get Hierarchy of Needs, and that was with every boost but the solo clear (which I eventually got after the fact). Also took me 23 clears to get the cowboy hat to drop for my Titan. Most of those being full clears too. Anyhow, keep grinding Guardian! You won't catch me farming Vesper's. Duoed it day one for 14hrs and we couldn't beat the final boss. Eventually got it done, but missed that Day One tag. Left me sour. Still hate that final encounter. Worse than most Raids IMO.

15 times is not that many clears for a dungeon exotic drop. Especially if you do not have every drop rate boost triumph completed.

17 RepliesIf you only farm the last checkpoint, bad luck protection doesn't add to that counter. Only full clears do

Each Dungeon from [b]Duality[/b] onward features five drop-rate boost Triumphs. For [b]Vesper’s Host[/b], you have completed only two: the remaining three are awarded for [b]Fireteam Flawless[/b], [b]Solo Flawless[/b] and [b]Master difficulty[/b] completions. Opening your Triumphs tab and navigating to [b]Legends[/b] > [b]Dungeons[/b] will allow you to see the full list of Triumphs for each Dungeon. (΄◉◞౪◟◉｀)

After doing every triumph booster it still took me 3 weeks (9 chances). You do still have 3 triumphs with boosts attached to them to do

Unfortunately the icebreaker is something people have been saying is extremely rare for a while now

I got my drop with maybe one booster in 10 clears. You're just unlucky.
