The peer to peer system needs addressed asap. I Australia it loads us into Asia servers and in any game with servers that is great but it this game its so laggy its just unplayable. Now some of these players cant help it but as I have seen while doing PVE content some people are using software and hardware to lag the game out for their advantage and I see reporting them does nothing. A person I come across in PVE and PVP has been doing it for years and was even showing people how to do it in the LFG discord. You really need to put the ping monitor back in the game and remove players suddenly spiking during the game. I spent heaps making sure my internet and connection has the lowest latency possible why should I match 300ping teleporting genies flying around like Aladdin on crack. Please work on this issue its been an issue since d1 alpha. Please use servers for D3.

5 RepliesBungie is not a good game developer. The only way Destiny gets better is if they are taken of the game and a legit developer takes over. I’m happy the game is not completely dead but in the end we still have the actual problem. Bungie.

3 RepliesI wonder how Marathon has been built i.e. if that is also p2p or dedicated servers? The lag sometimes can be terrible, I expect some of it is the p2p model, some is probably the desync between playstation and xbox and the rest is probably due to network manipulation. I find hardware modes much smoother the rare times they rotate in, so I am convinced a lot of the p2p issues are down to having to track the position of so many projectiles with all the ability spam.

1 ReplyI don't understand why people downvote your topic. P.S. Don't you have Starlink internet in Australia?
