I got arkham asylum, knight, and city because they were on sale on steam. Should I pick up origins as well? Any advice before playing? Controller or mouse and keyboard? No major spoilers please

I'd play them in order on controller.

The combat is a little clunky but the story and atmosphere more than make up for it. City is much improved gameplay wise but i still prefer the first one for being a more small-scale game. Knight is the worst of the three but still fun enough. I think they tried to do too much with the game and missed the mark in areas. All 3 games are fun af though and I wish I could play them for the first time again. I never played Origins as I believe it was originally a PS exclusive, but I heard it’s good enough. I have it myself on Steam so I really should play it at some point. Biggest tip is to take your time and experiment during the stealth sections especially when you’re getting to grips with the controls. Yes you have to look for movement patterns etc but takedown animations take more time than you think so an enemy with a gun could come around a corner and spot you before you have time to get away, and you DO NOT want to -blam!- with ranged enemies especially in Asylum. The challenge modes are really good if you need to practise stealth or combat because you can just replay them until you know what you’re doing.

Never played Knight. Also, in spite of what people say, this Batman kinda sucks as a character. He’s the best video game Batman we’ve got, but he does pale in comparison to Batmans from other media.

Origins is still a cool game and you will have the whole story.
