PS5 dual sense edge vs Scuf Omega

So to be clear I am not a PVP player at all and have no intention of starting now but I am considering getting something like a SCUF omega for use on my PS5 and occasionally on PC and I want some opinions on whether it’s worthwhile vs something like the dualsense edge and whether the Scuf is so much better that is worth giving up the rumble sensation? • I just received my controller and my Kontrol Freeks and I ordered from Amazon and assumed it would be two sticks of the same height as was previously ordered but it has a short and long height and cushioned rings. Now I know the long stick is intended for aiming on the right but I have never used the rings and have no idea if I should be using both of them and which side each of the rings should be on?

  • Ngl I’m only able to play with Xbox controllers these days. Both the dual sense and switch pro controllers I have to spend so much time arsing about with sensitivity controls, deadzones and aim acceleration in every game, Xbox I can use out of the box with almost anything. I even bought an adaptor so I can use it on my switch. If I didn’t play shooters it wouldn’t be a problem but maaaaaan how hard is it to not have thumbsticks that constantly fight to get back to the neutral position.

    • For a PC, dont buy all those expenstive overcharging bs. Get a Gamesir G7 Pro. Best controller out there for less than 100$

    • Edge I think. Sony customer service on these things is A$$ though. I have a Midnight one and was going to send it in, and the guy on the phone straight up told me they could only send a white controller lmao. Like YEAH no. One is or was worth it, but signs point to another version of this an upgrade hopefully coming out in not too long. The controller itself is unmatched, it's just that the rubber is a little less great after a year or two still with the small bubbles problem not as bad as at launch. Battery remains -blam!- yet I am wired all the time at 1000Hz polling rate.

    • Get the dual sense, I can map the controller for way better accuracy in pve too, and the ability to change the joysticks for $20 is next level

      • I'll just be honest... Without custom work, it's all ****. It's all made to break. Your best bet... is to find a form factor you like with features you want. Then buy a version of that. Then find an experienced tech to do your switches and sticks... essentially replace the ****y parts with good parts.

      • Dual sense edge. I had scuf before but have found the dual sense much more reliable and when I did have issues. The repairs and returns procedure was much more straightforward than it was with scuf.
