Error code: ErrorCannotAuthorize
I’m trying to do cross save on the destiny 2 app and I can authorize my Xbox and os5 account but right when I sign into my steam account it gives me the error code: ErrorCannotAuthorize right after I try to sign into every time and need help

1 ReplyHello there, Thank you for reaching out to us. We understand you're encountering an error when attempting to activate cross save. We can imagine how this may have caused concern. By any chance, do you encounter this same error if you use Bungie.net to set up cross save, rather than the app? If yes, does the error happen across multiple browsers, or when using a browser set to incognito? Please let us know, and we'll review.

Hey there, log out of Bungie.net and log back in with your Steam credentials. If it logs you into this same Bungie Account, then Steam will be auto-authenticated on the Cross-Save pages. If however it asks you to make a Bungie Account, or link an existing one, or just logs you into a different one altogether, it means the account you logged into is not the one linked to this current Bungie Account. That is also the reason why the authentication was failing.
