ISSUE: After playing a while in any mission / map, the Vexcalibure exotic weapon stops giving you overshields in ANY WAY it's supposed to do it.
REPRO STEPS: Just play with the vexcalibure as your main weapon. I was doing the Prophecy dungeon when it happened, but it happened before on the moon. and during other missions. I don't know if summoning your vehicle has to do with it, but in ( almost ) all of them I could.
ACTUAL RESULT: You cannot gain overshield either by raising your shield or by killing in melee with some overshield.
EXPECTED RESULT: You should get all the overshield the Vexcalibure gives to you.
NOTES: Whilst I was doing Prophecy solo, I couldn't even gain the nod you get at 5 stacks of light / dark. The buff just disapeared. and I couldn't even continue the mission.

I decided to play with Vexcalibur today and the issues you mentioned happened to me. Just submitted a report, hopefully they look into it …

2 RepliesDepending on the activity, time in activity and how many buffs you're stacking there is actually a limit to how buffs you can receive. This happens because certain buffs are applied but never taken away on the back end when they run out and if you run out of these buff slots you can no longer get buffs or even debuffs. I cant remember the name of the bug, but thats how they get around the raid mechanics and solo wrath of the machine back in d1 and it does still work in d2.(we saw this with the perk stacking artifact stacking) But i figured it the requirements would be too specific to stumble into like you did, so I'm not sure whats happening to you, but might be related. Or maybe one of the other million bugs in the game is to blame.

1 Reply[quote]NOTES: Whilst I was doing Prophecy solo, I couldn't even gain the nod you get at 5 stacks of light / dark. If you find yourself spending an extended length of time in a given encounter, something more likely to happen during Solo Dungeon attempts, it is a good idea to take some time now and then to clean up any unnecessary drops from the field (in a way that doesn’t expose you to too much danger of course) to ensure the mechanics of your instance continue to run smoothly. 2 RepliesI’ve had Grave Robber not working on Vexcalibur, and overshield taking longer than usual to start regenerating. They seem to be random instances…I’ve submitted a bug reports but it seems like nothing will be done about it.
