Hello Bungie wondering whether it is possible to restore Destiny 1 veteran dialogue to my current Destiny 2 character. I played Destiny 1 and earned legacy accomplishments before transferring my character to Destiny 2 at launch. Later that original Destiny 1 into 2 character was deleted, and I now understand that doing so may have removed the character's veteran dialogue status. However, my Destiny 1 legacy accomplishments are still visible in the character selection menu. (I’m going to link a video to show it as to show I’m not lying because I don’t want to be a jerk) I also found the January 27, 2025, Bungie Help Forum discussion titled “Veteran dialogue,” (https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/264556678) in which a Bungie Help representative stated that veteran dialogue may be attached to both the account and the character, depending on the character's Destiny 1 history. Could you please clarify whether my original Destiny 1 veteran status can be restored or whether the veteran dialogue flag can be applied to my current character? I understand that manually deleted characters may not be recoverable. I am not necessarily asking for the deleted character itself to be restored; I would simply like to know whether there is any way to recover the associated veteran dialogue. If there is a way a flag could be checked on my characters internally somehow server side. I would appreciate any guidance you can provide. I know this is a long shot, and it’s bound to end up like the Atlanta Falcons NFL game last night, but I would like to know if there is any solution, something I can do, anything at all. I feel stumped mentally and I would appreciate anything that could be done to help. If it also helps, my profile on Destiny 2 also has certain badges (or banners, whichever they are called) for Destiny 1 accomplishments as well as Red War, Curse of Osiris, Warmind, and Forsaken. Thank you for your time.
