Time does not equate to skill. Mediocre at best, but
I've had my way with everything Bungie offered &
wow, what a heck of a ride, Guardians. There have
been years when life happened but I always came
back. Didn’t like the portal but kinda did too.
Preordered last round and dipped before Renegades.
Came back specifically to be another number on the
tally machine to show the overlords Destiny ain’t
going nowhere.
What I didn’t expect was perfection.
Never has a game been sent off so well.
Then, well, you know it too.
Destiny is not done.
♡
tl;dr: Whatever you do, Bungie, take the best from the
past and enhance it in future endeavors. It’s perfect,
IMO. The leveling. Armor traits. Options & honestly,
you could have not and walked away. Thank you.

7 RepliesDifference of opinion. The game is in a bad state for average players. That is why they all left. Armor system is a mess, way over complicated and designed from the word go for players who spend hours in the game every day. Linking difficulty to light level is a terrible idea, not everyone is skilled enough to play Master and GM level content let alone Ultimate. So playing at lower level you net zero gear or useful weapons. The tier system for everything BUT exotics make some legendary stuff way better then some exotics. The base idea of giving every guardian 300 LL gear so they can do master content would be great if it was actually gear designed for a build, but ti was just crappy random gear that was only useful to change the LL of existing gear, which by the way if you had 200 LL gear that was tier 1, did you zero good as that was not good enough to complete master level content. Too many core systems are a mess, Too many perks leads to too many possible bad variants of everything. Stat system is a mess, drop rates are way to high considering that you still get 99%+ junk and sorting through more bad gear is no fun. latest release is an over all improvement from last expansion, but it does not go far enough to fix broken things. TLDR: Basically the game needs to be fun and engaging, which at this point it is not or so many players would not have left. DCV is not why players left!

Well written. Love the variety of gameplay and detail in design when applied. Hate the inconsistency to the point of breaking everything with each new release. Hope the future brings consistency and less chaos. That way we can work around what doesn’t work and build on that which does. Hate throwing out old items I ran through dozens of games to get perfect rolls. Really hope this is the last time.

Couldn’t agree more. In fact this past weekend I said to myself. I’m going to the lighthouse this weekend. Never got to do it, never could find a team in D1, never wanted to go through the pain of getting wrecked over and over in D2. But I was like i gotta get it done even if it really isn’t anything to go if it’s not flawless. But I got there for the first time last night. Wasn’t flawless, but who cares. I stepped out into the Mercury sun and for me it was glorious. Love this game, love where it is currently. I’m rocking this -blam!- until the wheels fall off, I die or my Xbox explodes.

been playing ever since the game came out and have never found a game that could bring the variety and joy that Destiny has brought me since the begining of it
