Third selection got cut off in my end, but the third choice is about combining the stories of Shattered Cycle, Alchemist, and the rest of the Fate Saga into the base campaign of D3 then setting up expansions as a new saga, the Winnower Saga.

Edited by ODSTrooper: 10/4/2026 8:22:29 AMI want them to finish off the Fate Saga as part of the vanilla game. The Vex could then start to play a bigger role (they could tell us more about what or whom exactly the Corrupted Puppeteer from Vesper's Host had been trying to communicate with — more on this below in my last two lines of this paragraph). Given that new Vex ornament set we got with Monument of Triumph which was likely for the next season reward pass, I feel there would have been more done with them and the Taken led by The Lord of Every Nothing shortly. I would also like for them to eventually show off the star system known as 2082 Volantis which is entirely colonized by the Vex. It would give them an opportunity to showcase some entirely new Vex units and more of which were actually meant for combat purposes. The rest which follows is just some other ideas and wasn't written in any specific order. I would like them to then turn to other remaining loose threads like Xivu Arath, Savathun & the other remaining worm gods. More specifically, within a Hive focused DLC they could introduce locations ranging from Torobatl, Xivu's throne world (or maybe even the Hive homeworld of Fundament too and I mainly mention this one because of an idea again at the end of thid portion). Sundered Doctrine lore as I recall kind of hinted at the Worm Gods considering new hosts (that being the Dread) so it could be a way to give the spotlight to this species seeking new purpose maybe if they ever chose to kill off Xivu & Savathun (I can see Xivu dying at least but I'm not sure if they would ever do both remaining sisters). Luzaku could nonetheless lead the remaining Hive in such a scenario into becoming entirely peaceful and no longer an enemy of humanity. Nezarec could also return (and they could introduce cultists like some of the Psion race that have previously worshiped him), and it could be a chance to do more with the Dread (if not accounting for my above idea) and remains of the Shadow Legion. Obviously, there's also The Winnower but I don't see this figure necessarily for certain being the next main antagonist in the wake of The Witness. I feel they could do some other new locations such as perhaps exploring what's left of Lubrae (where Rhulk was from) or the original home planet of the Precursor species home that had become the Witness. Perhaps such places could be where our Guardian may learn of a 3rd darkness subclass? Then there's more they can still do with the Ahamkara I feel, as well as the Awoken not loyal to Mara who had chosen to remain living in the Distributary who maybe have changed drastically given how time progresses differently there and who could potentially be suddenly a threat.
