I'm Federico, a Destiny player and developer from Italy. After "The Next Chapter for Bungie" I built d2build.org: an open letter asking for a path to player-created activities, sized to a smaller studio, and a gallery where players publish the activities they would build.
Step 1 asks for almost nothing new: private matches for PvE, the Portal's modifiers in private, a shareable rules code, no competitive rewards. Step 2 is a light encounter editor on existing spaces with Bungie reviewing what gets featured. Step 3 is the horizon, a creation mode, and we say openly it's a multi-year thing.
The gallery already has a dungeon ruleset with six shared lives, a three-role strike, a Sparrow time trial, a 3v3 mode with no radar. Concepts are reviewed and published under CC BY, so anyone at Bungie can read them freely.
