Deleting Linked Crossplay Account
I have my Xbox and Steam accounts linked to my Bungie ID, however since I transitioned fully to PC, I’m debating deleting my Xbox account permanently because I no longer have a console and don’t use the account at all. My sole concern is because the Xbox account was my original account tied to my Bungie ID. If I delete that Xbox account will it cause issues with Destiny? I don’t want to delete that Xbox account if it’ll wipe my Destiny progress. My Steam account that is linked to my Bungie ID will remain because that’s where I play most of my games.

1 ReplyIt won't wipe your progression as thats stored on Bungies end but it will mean that if you ever need to deactivate cross-save for any reason, ie you want to start over with Steam instead of Xbox as the active profile or you link another platform account and it doesn't join cross-save successfully, then you will be unable to do so.
