I stupidly assumed this would’ve been fixed at some point since February 2025. I tried helping friends progress/finish that quest last night for the catalyst but to our surprise.. it’s still bugged in September 2026. At this point, just open the door and grant access to the chest for everyone with the exotic if you don’t know how to fix your game. Even the Lockset encounter still shows crit damage that is inaccurate but at least that encounter is easy enough to complete otherwise. Has anyone figured out a workaround that doesn’t require trying on another character and praying it’s not locked out too?
