Hi, ​I’m writing because I’ve run into a really messy situation with my Bungie account that I can't resolve on my own, and I honestly need your manual help to fix it. ​I’ve been playing Destiny for about 8 years now. I started around the end of the Red War campaign and stayed with the game ever since, despite a few breaks here and there. Back when you offered specific emblems for linking accounts from different platforms, I linked everything I could to my Bungie.net profile. That included two accounts I created just for that occasion, which I then completely forgot to unlink. ​Earlier this summer, I logged into my profile to link my new primary Steam account—which I made this past spring since I’m transitioning to PC—only to realize it's no longer possible to simply swap out linked accounts on my own. ​After reaching out to support for the various platforms, I managed to recover the credentials for those old secondary profiles. The real battle was with Steam, as the account I used back then was in the process of being permanently deleted (the associated email was an old address I retired years ago), and it has since been completely wiped. Before it was deleted, though, I managed to get temporary credentials to log into Bungie.net. ​With access to all four accounts—including my main PSN account—I was able to disable Cross-Save. The required 90-day waiting period is finally ending in two weeks. ​Here’s the issue: my main, historical Bungie profile—which means the world to me since it represents nearly a third of my life—has always been tied to my PSN account (with some occasional Stadia play back in the day). I don't use Xbox, and I don't use Epic Games. Now that I’m ready to play on PC, I’m stuck because the profile is still linked to that old Steam ID that no longer exists, and the system won't let me link my new one. ​I don't care about keeping any of those old emblems; losing them is completely fine. All I care about is being able to link my current Steam account and play on PC with my PSN characters and progression. ​Could you please manually intervene on my profile to remove that old, deleted Steam account so I can link my new one? I also kindly ask not to be sent automated links to help articles or FAQs—I've read through all of them, and there's no automated self-service option for this specific issue. ​Thanks a lot for your help.
