As long as they drop the trash cans still playing on PS4 and XB1 I’m all for it. -
1 ReplyI feel like a lot of ducks have to be lined up before we get to those. First is the unvaulting. Then, what comes next? Is PvP getting more investment? Is enough new content coming to justify dedicated servers? Is a D2 relaunch/rebrand or a whole new game on the cards? Etc. So many questions to ponder.

I can only dream about this. The connection quality is just -blam!- sometimes. One PvP match everything is really smooth and you seem to land your hits and everything feels so crispy. Then next -blam!- game is nightmare and is like you got blinded, lost your both arms and try to aim with mindcontrol...

8 RepliesI just can't understand why people are downvoting a topic, as soon as someone asks for dedicated servers. Those must be cheaters, because a normal player would support it 100%. Everyone complaining about cheaters and conmecting to Destiny servers, but downvoting dedicated servers? No way!

1 ReplyI doubt with the current network archtecture (hybrid peer2peer) the game will see any massive improvements with Dedicated Servers. However, for future games IT SHOULD HAVE those.

1 ReplyI wish, so much... but I think what we're getting now is probably the utmost limit at which Sony is willing to give at this point, unless the player count explodes and looks phenomenal. I could be wrong, but, I think this is how the conversation between Bungie and Sony went - Bungie - "Just look at how much Destiny fans want more Destiny. They're begging us for more. We have to give them more!" Sony - "Alright, you have this one chance to give them more, but the numbers have to look extraordinary after this, or that's it. We're not doing anymore."

Not possible and not needed. I've never had any issues with Destiny's network.
