Just hire the dawn/sunrise devs
Sony/Bungie fear a lack of control... And if they aren't going to do it the community will...
Give game development back to the gamers... And have some play tests for the average player not just the yes men and tryhards...

Post...[/quote] No, the only saving last ditch effort they could do is outright dump the Destiny (both 1 & 2) source code to the net to be worked on by the community, they ought to think about that in the event they can't continue on Also this game needs an offline mode, why hasn't it been implemented yet, Sunrise/Dawn devs clearly showed that the only thing there's serverside is enemy ai and some scripting (which is ridiculous, why is those things server side and not local???) I don't want those people working on it who do it just for the love of the game to potentially get brought in only for Sony to smack bungie down into dissolution and all this just goes poof into the ether

2 RepliesFirst they should be hiring the people they laid off. That's the first step. THEN perhaps offer to pick up the Sunrise devs, but the people who created D2 in the first place should have their salaries, a bonus, AND an apology before anyone else.

Wonder if that's why they're dropping this news now of all times. The AAA devs who make this stuff for a living don't want to be upstaged by a bunch of passionate fans just making this stuff because they love the game.
