Destiny's strength, like any looter shooter, is the journey, not the destination. You finally created a nice sandbox, now let both veteran and new players experience it from beginning to end as new players. More slots would be ideal... preferably 6, but I'm not here to demand a the world, just to pitch the idea. The extra character slot(s) would not be tied to the the first 3 character slots in terms of gear and resources. The only thing that is shared is unlocked cosmetics like ornaments and shaders. Imagine being able to experience Destiny 2 again where an exotic engram is exciting again. Where unlocking a new subclass is a rush of dopamine again. You're back farming vault of glass with your old raid team crew trying your damnest to get a vex mythoclast before its last pull time. Imagine community-led events/contests like first new-character fireteam to clear master Deepstone Crypt. Friends starting on new classes that aren't their mains together. A freshly empty vault to dumb gear into again. every legendary engram being potentially exciting. If you were to release this with a relaunch of the red war campaign, this would be monumental. A opportunity of a litmus test for the sweats and devoted veterans, an opportunity to bring in new players to experience the game with or old friends who don't want to worry about endgame or inventory management and just enjoy the sandbox. An opportunity for veterans to experience the challenges new players face first hand so we can adjust guides and fine tune advice. You wont be sorry implementing this Bungie. P.S. Please give stasis and strand a second super already...
