They don't care about us, they don' care about making good games, All they care about is making money. They had no issue abandoning Destiny 2 when they made Marathon because they thought that they would make more money from it. Now that Marathon failed, they come crawling back to the Destiny 2 community because they know that can make money from it.

I'll believe it when i see it, to much faith, trust and talent has been lost; not to mention bungie basically invented the rug pull so just taking their word at face value is a very bad mistake. Dont congratulate them until theyve FULLY delivered, words are just words with bungie and not to be taken as any kind of quarantee until the product is FINSHED and SHIPPED. I'll also not be spending even a single penny for said content either, free until shutdown; Destiny 2 has been given enough money over the years and bungie has wasted it...no more.

took the failure of Marathon for them to step up and listen.. i dont buy the "we never meant for Marathon to replace Destiny" line tho lol This is a start with the old content but l'll be more excited when l start seeing the actual road map and new content.

6 RepliesNothing is back dude. Reskinning old content isn’t going to save the game or franchise. It’s going to make everyone who isn’t playing wonder why they aren’t making new content. That’s actually cause for concern because that means they have no plans to continue the narrative where they left off.

I honestly can't see them NOT doing this, anything can still happen but if they don't deliver after saying they would and it being everywhere, it would most definitely spell the end for Bungie as a whole because I doubt anyone would log into the game after that, personally as much as I love d1/2 I doubt I would ever log back on if this falls through as a broken promise! As someone who wasn't around for the vaulted content excited is a drastic understatement for how I'm feeling about the news! Trying to hope for the best but also doing everything I can to reel my excitement in just in case! -

5 RepliesObviously there is plenty of room for Bungie to mess this up, but I cannot understand how people are still so negative here about this. This is huge. Getting everything unvaulted and acknowledging that that should have never happened was incredible. I am hopeful for the future, for Bungie's sake, they better be following through.

2 RepliesWhen the words “manufactured crisis” comes to mind, it begins to make a lot of sense. I could never take Aztecross or Paul Tassi seriously. Being skeptical about the “end of Destiny 2’s lifecycle” is plausible when you realize that somehow the servers for Destiny 1 are still up and running. There was something very fishy about all of this and how it was presented. I just hope the developers and management learned every humbling lesson about what the community wants and doesn’t want in their beloved game. However, circling back to cautious optimism, I think it’ll be more of the same if the trend continues. I for one do not want another peashooter simulator. Cosmic Power Fantasy was the definition of this franchise, and that is exactly what it needs to go back to. Destiny is a PvE game with an optional PvP feature, not the other way around. Please stop nerfing everything to the ground, please make Power Levels matter, please make modifiers trivial but fun, and please listen to your community. That is all.

I think the fact the community kept at it and playing made a big impression. Then Project Sunrise happened and the community got excited even more, and at that point Somy/Bungie had no excuse. It’s a great day for Guardians!

I just hope they bring EVERYTHING that's been Vaulted back. They mentioned Destinations, Campaigns, and Raids. But what about Stikes and Crucible maps? Seasonal Activities and Exotic Missions? The last Gambit Map? What they're prioritizing is important, but it's all short term activities. And with how long it'll be before we see any of this, who knows if it will still be worth bringing back.
