Want to play on own Steam account with Bungie account that has brothers Steam account linked.
Hi,
I would like to enquire about swapping Steam accounts that are linked to my Bungie account so that i can play Destiny 2, with my Xbox character and also purchase DLC etc. on my own Steam account, not my brothers. I want to continue to play the game but the inability to do this myself is putting me off and it is frustrating because i was looking forward to playing the game on my new setup and new Steam account.
Am i able to get my Cross Save reverted to a fresh instance? So that i can link my new Steam account?

Bungie gave everyone the March 25th 2025 deadline to get their accounts sorted (ie unlinking old/unused or moving to a new Bungie profile) before they disabled the ability to unlink. As the deadline has now passed, you cannot swap the linked Steam, and Bungie will not unlink the Steam account under any circumstances.
