the game is currently completely unplayable for me. i get weaseled every time i try to login and when i can briefly login i'm only allowed in orbit for about 30 seconds before being weaseled back to the title screen.
open nat type, i thought it being strict was the problem but after changing router and modem it still persists. other threads mention that a recent windows update was the root cause of this, which i am currently unable to uninstall. i've tried every listed solution I can find online and nothing has worked, and seeing as other people have posted about this exact same issue I think bungie needs to look deeper into this.

yeah I am getting constant weasel error code at character select screen, has been like this for over 24 hours now. nothing wrong my internet. hard wired 1Gbps. zero issues with any other online games or net activity. previously experienced this and it was connected to character load-outs (in-game) which I cleared via DIM but sadly that is not the case this time - I cleared all 3 characters in-game load-outs via DIM and still get constant weasel at character select screen. Don't hold out much hope for this being fixed with the current state of Bungie and the game itself no longer being live service.

4 RepliesHi there, Thanks for reaching out. Weasel errors are indicative of network issues. These can be caused by problems affecting your specific network hardware, packet loss, or greater issues affecting your ISP which are being passed on to you. To that point, we recommend consulting our Network Troubleshooting Guide to explore potential solutions. If that doesn't help, the next step would be checking our Optimizing Connections page. Following that, if issues still persist, we would recommend reaching out to your ISP for more hands-on assistance in troubleshooting your network setup.
