I've dogged on Prismatic since it released. Never found the gameplay loop engaging.
FINALLY found a build that suits my tastes though, and I gotta say it's insanely fun!

What I really love about the build is the sheer flexibility within it. The demand regarding Aspects is truly wide open. There's always 1-2 Fragments I flex around with (Hope, Purpose, Ruin are 100% demanded). Multiple Artifacts enable variations of the build regarding the aforementioned selections. Armor sets are incredibly flexible too. 86 enables one to ditch Sage Armor for all sorts of other utility or damage enhancements. Additionally, Sage allows one to ditch 86 for other swords. Ergo Sum has tremendous potential on the build as well.
I think one of the major appeals of the build is that it isn't predicated on Transcendence. It's aggressive positioning, intuitive timing, and high on target priority in combat.
The potency is nothing to scoff at either, as it just destroys, even in -50, another major positive of the build. That has been the other major sell for me regarding it. So many builds are viable in -30, that it begins to feel unrewarding when virtually everything works. The gap of performance from -30 to -50 is tremendous. And this build bridges the gap beautifully!
The only regret I have is the sheer number of 86's I dismantled in Renegades! Have a singular great roll now, but want to experiment with some variations.
Anyhow, what are your experiences with Hoarfrost+Horn???
