An idea from Warframe
So I have an idea, strictly as a hypothetical, and I know some of you PVP "elitists" will get mad because I dare to talk about your precious arcade side mode, but put down your ego and just hear me out.
I was playing Warframe and I thought about making a stop into PVP for a weapon mod, but then I noticed something, anything you get in PVP, can only be used for PVP. This made me think, "Why can't we do this for Destiny?" If we get D3, it would help keep the "casuals who are ruining PVP" out of it, because we would have no incentive to play unless we truly wanted to, and the only motivation to keep going would be to improve and enrich the PVP experience.
It's a pipe dream, I know, but I'm actually curious what you all think about it. Oh, but please, save the childish tantrums if you would. It's not needed here.

The issue is sandbox balancing and other protocols such as maybe taking more damage while sliding or while being shot in the back as well as while being airborne unless you're using armor or a weapon that decreases a players ability to get targeted shots on them such as Manticore.

Been here since D1 day 1, never embraced that Journey Guardian levels. I play what I feel like playing without regard for what those elite may think. As for childish tantrums please look at the original post. "Why can't we have what war frame has..." just play the damn game

11 RepliesThe “casuals who are ruining PvP” want everything the “elitists” gain through skill and the “elitists” want “casuals” to farm. Crucible has been distorted by this uneasy relationship over the years (Trials being a prime example of the mess it creates). Personally, I’d rather have clearer separation between PvE mains and PvP mains, through separate playlists and rewards. A single playlist, with Crucible-only loadouts and rewards would be cool though.
