Ever since I completed guardian rank 11 I’ve been running the ultimate conquests trying to help others beat them. I’ve noticed a growing trend of more rank 11 guardians doing the same thing recently. My rant is about the Ultimate Darkblade conquest. While I try my best to get the entire fireteam through to the end I’m seeing a lot of others being totally selfish thinking that they can do it all by themselves. While that’s great for them it isn’t very rewarding for the person they are carrying to be just watching from the death screen the entire mission. Part #1: While riding on the ferry if you decide to cheese the section you might be helping yourself get through you are actually screwing the other 2 people that you are running it with. There is no reason the all 3 people can’t get through as long as we are all focusing on the wizards and shriekers. Part 2: during the swamp phase one again you are screwing the other 2 people by leaving them behind while you eagerly edge through. Again, there is no reason why the whole fireteam cannot make it through as long as we stick together. While you think you are helping others by essentially soloing the conquest you are actually robbing them of being able to actually experience it by surviving to the end. That is all. Rant over.
