Hello Bungie Help / Mentors,
I am experiencing a persistent Tapir error on Destiny 1 that is completely blocking me from logging into the game. This issue is isolated entirely to my specific account profile, and I have verified it is a back-end API/inventory crash.
Here are my account details and the troubleshooting diagnostics I have already performed:
-PSN ID: GreekAssassin14
-Platform: PlayStation
-Region: North America
-The Problem: Continuous Tapir error upon trying to log into Destiny 1. Other PSN profiles work perfectly on the exact same console, ruling out local network, hardware, or base game file issues.
-Twitch Unlinking: I have already logged into Bungie.net and completely unlinked my Twitch account from my profile, which did not resolve the error.
-Destiny 2 Status: My Destiny 2 characters and inventory load and play completely fine on this exact same PSN account. The issue is strictly isolated to the legacy Destiny 1 environment.
-DIM API Diagnostic: When attempting to view my Destiny 1 character data via Destiny Item Manager (DIM), the API throws the specific error: "Unable to load your Destiny 1 characters and inventory."
Because DIM finds the profile but crashes while trying to fetch the items, it appears an item, quest, or badge state in my D1 character inventory is breaking the legacy server handshake.
Could a forum Mentor or Bungie Support agent please escalate my PSN ID (GreekAssassin14) to the web/database team to have my active legacy inventory flags or account session refreshed?
Thank you for your help.

1 ReplyHey there, thanks for your report. How long have you been receiving this error code? Did you happen to link your Discord account to your Bungie account recently?
