Edited by Majin_Buu91: 8/22/2026 6:29:17 AMYeah the ones who blame others that are toxic are so many times projecting! Was in a fireteam where I was the only one with a mic out of 6 and there was bad communication about the Raid encounter, guess who they kicked when I asked why no one was using a mic? I knew what to do and the post even said “kind gamers and no toxicity” but man the kind of bad mouth messages I got from that same leader afterwards you can already guess….

Community is fine. Better than most games. -
Toxic communities are common in most games.

If you think this community is toxic. You should try playing League of Legends. Holy crap!

Having a good cry always makes it better

It’s not that bad, a few bad apples but shouldn’t let them influence your opinion on everyone!

Edited by Khronikos: 8/21/2026 8:36:05 PMCrucible is toxic because they can't build a matchmaking algorithm that properly puts people where they need to be. PvE isn't that toxic unless you are total garbo, and then all you need to do is listen and follow directions because most things are generally so easy it's just a matter of time. Even then there needs to be more people on the mic in Crucible talking whether toxic or not. When new players can't succeed, and they make balancing teams under this nightmare system impossible, you are always going to get a few people angry at the broken design. I don't know how people who are .2 players even enjoy the game personally. But people playing Control like Clash? Yep, always makes me angry and will scream about it. Can't stand playing with low IQ anchors not that I care that much these days. Will just back out of the auto-losses and be done with it. I had some fattie absolutely have a breakdown yesterday when I was complaining about getting 1v3'd at base. I thought it was funny and told him to keep venting. People in general need to use mics more because lack of mics leads to problems and bad communication. Always will be a thing in nearly SILENT games like Destiny has become lol. Zoomers and general direction of gaming has made open-mics almost dead, and personally I feel it absolutely sucks. Was so much better in the 2000s and 2010s.
