My Bungie account name changed by itself overnight and i want my old one back
I logged in and played yesterday and my name was normal, but now i log in today and get a message saying something about cross saves and then my name was changed to redacted0819 with a different # number. im confused and id like at least my # number back because it has been that for over 10 years now. please if theres any way to get this fixed it would be appreciated

3 RepliesHey there, a name reset to 'redacted' means that the name was reported to Bungie, manually reviewed, deemed to go against the code of conduct, and reset to a default. You get the cross-play message in-game as there is no dedicated message for 'your name has been moderated', so that message is misleading. It is nothing to do with cross-play, it's a name reset. A name change may alter the numbers after the #, Bungie does not offer a way to change these non-randomly.
