Cross save not working
When I try authenticate my Xbox account that link it says it’s not the linked one but when I try check which is linked it’s the right one just my older name. Does this mean I can’t use cross progression?

Sign out of Bungie.net and attempt to sign in with the Xbox account. One of two things will happen: First - it brings you into your XGibbsyX#0237 account then its the correct account and will be preauthenticated. Second - it tells you to link/create a Bungie account or brings you into a completely different profile at which point its the wrong one. As a note - there [i]is[/i] an Xbox account with that name currently that has played Destiny 2 (back in 2017) but doesn't look like its been signed into for a while. Solid chance you've made a new Xbox account in between linking that one and now, and now you're not actually using the account you have linked. If the above is the situation then you will need to find the already linked account for your cross-save setup.
