Playing Destiny Now is like Pi$$ing Into the Wind
I log on, do the BD bounties…then switch characters, do all three - then…what next?
I pop into crucible…bad move…it’s beyond ridiculous with the SUS brigade out in force, as blatant as can be…it can’t all be down to P2P…
I don’t quit…even though the urge is there…game over, exit PvP. It’s a pointless exercise.
I look at LFG then recall the reasons why I don’t bother with the D2 2.0 Raids…’cause they ain’t fun compared to the D1 Raids which we ran nonstop…which were fun!
Then I bounce…switch off the ps5 until the next time…which is getting longer and longer apart.
The whole gaming industry is getting worse by the minute…no disc…renewable license only…pay more for less… 🤔

I play console, and I doubt you're matching that many cheaters (or at least "good" cheaters). Just saying What is bad about D2 Raids? Aren't they considered some of the best D2 content?

5 RepliesAren't you one of those who think the majority of people who raid are cheating? I think you are just not the target audience for anything endgame. Patrol and vanguard ops are more for you. Sunsetting happened almost 6 years ago, and yet you're still here. So let's not pretend like that totally ruined the game for you. The exit door has always been open. Seriously, you consider D1 crota and vog to be part of the peak of raiding in this game? Those are raids where you stand there and do nothing.

8 RepliesPVP is horrible. The amount of Zim and cronus users on console is insane. Cheaters/Hackers on PC. SBMM, 50/50 win/loss ratio. Stay away from PVP. Unless you enjoy torture!

2 RepliesD1 raids were strikes. The only thing that made them challenging was 30 fps and having to fight a controller. D2 raids are infinitely better. In every way.

I went back to D1 and started again on new account at start of 2026. Now that is a pointless dead game with a player pop in the hundreds (not thousands) 🤣 Yes matchmaking is frustratingly slow & you pretty much have to LFG for anything high end to do but... ...I have been thoroughly enjoying myself and steadily ticking off the quests & achievements. It's just fun to play.

Bit of Forza5 till 6 arrives on PSN and am quite enjoying Subnautica but turned off food and water requirement for first playthrough. ;) More to gaming life than Destiny even after 11 years.

8 RepliesI enjoy making new builds with all the armour set bonuses available. That gives me plenty to do. Lots of sets are found outside the raids so if you aren’t haven’t a good time doing them, then you can still grind other things.

7 RepliesTry some other games. One, or maybe some, might hold your attention. I used to think I’d be playing Destiny until the servers were switched off. But those days are long gone. I pulled away from it as more things moved in a direction I didn’t enjoy. I do still drop in with a brief flurry of activity now and then but most of my time is spent in other games.

I sometimes go back to D1 when i get the itch to shoot aliens in the face and use space magic. But it's been awhile, would love to run those D1 raids again, especially King's Fall since i never completed it. Now, i've gone back to play single player games, which is cool too because a lot of them are very good.
