Going into comp solo has been THEE worst experience of my life. I don’t know what kind of matchmaking algorithm Bungie used, it’s always been terrible, but as of late I’ve been realizing just how bad it really is. I don’t know how I manage to get so unlucky to have two randoms who are the worst in the lobby be my teammates while the other team has either the best players around or just people with brains. In Collision, half the time my team doesn’t go for the zone (yk the whole point of the game mode and how you win) and just die repeatedly doing the same stupid push that got them killed 3 times already. In Clash they just can’t aim a gun, apparently it’s their first time picking up a controller. Using the Xbox LFG does nothing since it’s full of PvE raiders. I don’t use the LFG on here because I don’t really get how to use it. It would just be nice to have the matchmaking actually do its job and let me get out of SILVER 2. The placement matches put me at Gold 1 but since I haven’t played it in a while it fking demoted me, probably because my team can’t hold their own and actually win games. I had a game recently where I dropped a 5 KDA and we barely won, last game we were up 30-19 and somehow my teammates dropped the ball and we lost 35-33. Idk why I’m being matched with people with ungodly aim while my teammates are shooting walls. Please for the love of god I just want to hit Adept so I can gild my title, I don’t care about comp after that
