Momento mori is busted in PvP
This perk should be based on how many kills you got before reload, not just "oh you got a kill, here's six high damage bullets and a free two-tap". You should not get all that for one kill, I'm sorry. A decent player could get one kill and immediately become basically unstoppable. That's ridiculous.

2 RepliesSry man the jury is out on this one I think. Ace is very balanced and I rarely even see it nowadays. The fact that you didn’t know it loses momento on weapon swap is a little crazy. That was changed looooong ago and it’s just gotten nerfed since then and its stats are really not insane at all compared to current 140. Just use jade like the rest of the pve mains do

8 RepliesOne, I can tell that someone with Ace of Spades absolutely fried you before this post was made. Two, Ace does not two tap without additional damage buffs.

3 RepliesBruh Ace has been unchanged for how many years.. we are in a scout/pulse meta by far. Not at all an outlier weapon right now. You got every pve player in PvP sitting 🪑 in the back of the map with Jade rabbit which certainly didn’t need a buff. On top of that ability spam is so bad right now, as soon as you get close to any scout or pulse they throw the kitchen sink at you

8 RepliesIt's very balanced lmao, and with modern tier 5 handcannon stats weapons like thorn and hawkmoon tend to be easier to use whilst still having very good exotic perks. Want to hear something that's actually broken? Ace can two tap IF it has Memento AND a damage buff, kindled orchid can get KC and MH, giving it two taps to the head with NO additional damage buffs and it has better stats than Ace. I think in this situation, "skill issue" is justified.

Edited by Zodleon: 8/9/2026 8:00:24 PMI actually run ace two taps occasionally, and I can assure you I am definitely not unstoppable and to do it with any consistency basically requires radiant dance machines (or empowering rift) and around 140 weapons stat. In other words you do have to build into it. I basically never see anyone else doing it
