Got to try different builds man. As a titan you can spec to be able to one shot shoulder charge.

My opinion is that in pvp all characters should have the same jump and no blinks, dodges and invisibility.

Hunters have always had good PVP builds, but they have not always been the "best." Also, you should not assume that because something is popular, it is OP. Historically, (Arc and Void) Titans and (Solar) Warlocks have often had low usage rates but high win rates (using a Titan was most closely correlated with having a high win rate). I know there was a point in time when the outcome of Control games could be predicted by how many Bubble Titans were on a given team. Additionally, Titans in particular were used overwhelmingly by players who won 90% or more of their Trials games. I don't have the current numbers, but I suspect that Hunters are now the most used AND the most correlated with a high win rate. However, I suspect Void Hunter is the outlier, not Hunter as a whole. Usage rates vary dramatically as you look at low skill to high skill players. A common example is to look at Jotunn. In low-skill lobbies, Jotunn is a menace. In high skill lobbies, Jotunn is a joke. Void Hunter (and Invis and / or smokes) should have been nerfed in a major way before Bungie let go of the reins. 25% of the playerbase using 1 subclass is crazy and unacceptable. Likewise, underperforming subcasses like Solar Titan should have been buffed. Basically, the sandbox should be balanced around usage more than it currently is. Yup, unfortunately 70% of the playerbase plays as a hunter... Nothing we can do to reduce the best pvp class. You might find more joy in knowing that it takes more skill to play as titan or warlock. (Facts)

I’ve played with all 3 classes in PvP over the years and always found they each had something to bring. They suit different play styles. I never felt OP with one over the others.

First of all matchmaking ruined PvP. But every time I try to use my Warlock or Titan it feels like I am being absolutely corroded to the bone by horrible matchmaking and lack of a good dodge. I agree the classes are just way too imbalanced, but Warlock and Titan cheaters are some of the worst at abusing stuff too. It's just kind of a broken sandbox that they never properly fixed. Like if my teammates are not working with me as a Titan? Yeah, I am screwed because I don't play a shotgun ape Titan. I had to switch back to Hunter last IB because the matchmaking was so horrible.

And yet aren't hunters generally the worst PvE class due to either lower damage than other classes or because of their survivability? If they should be the worst class in PvE, why shouldn't they be the best class in pvp? It's no different than all the exotic weapons and armor people keep saying "doesn't need X because it's a PvE/pvp weapon". For a few examples, all the exotic weapons with stats lower than the rest of their archetypes either as a whole or due to power creep would suggest they should have. * Sunshot "doesn't need" another 20-30 aim assist because it's a PvE weapon (it has 60 AA compared to all other lightweight and former lightweight hand cannons having 80-90). "Who cares about stats in PvE? Are you stupid?", and the gun gets outperformed by basically any weapon with incandescent. * Or Malfeasance having 50 compared to the 70-80 almost every 180 hand cannon has. * Ace of Spades only having 50 stability compared to the 70-80 almost every hand cannon has now BEFORE performance enhancing perks like Perpetual Motion or Slideways * Touch of Malice having only 40 aim assist (matching that of the highest tiered 150s) when ALL other 260 scouts have I think 16-23 more. People were even saying Jade Rabbit doesn't need a PvE buff or any kind of rework because it's a PVP gun, yet the exotic trait was worthless, and all it had going for it was 2 overtuned stats. Lo and behold, they gave it Shoot To Loot and Firefly (both PvE perks), an alt fire matching the worst frame of grenade launcher (micro missile), and even the alt fire is complete trash in PvE for how much time and effort it takes to fully charge it, doing only a little over 400 to the head fully charged on Master at the shooting range against Carl when a weapon like Revision Zero can get a sniper round that does over 700 every 16 crits. Hunters didn't ruin pvp. They were made for it. Even the "class identity" was practically made for it. * "Attack precision", so they should be rewarded more for properly timed and/ or accurate attacks. And precision is a huge part of gunplay, so they should naturally be better with guns. * "Damage avoidance", fast on the fly movement and dodges to throw off your aim. * "Infiltration", getting into position before anyone notices, requiring either stealth or fast movement on the class that's SUPPOSED to be the fastest but can still be outrun by the other two unless the user is on Strand and wants to waste both grenades. Get over it. If you want hunters to be "brought in line" with titans or warlocks, you need to either buff them to match hunters WITHOUT touching PvE, or you need to find a way to nerf hunters in pvp WITHOUT outright crippling them (imagine Nightstalker losing invis when it's the ONLY thing Nightstalker can build into, being the ONLY one trick pony in destiny) in either mode.

If you don’t realize how good titan and warlock abilities are then you’re going to be crying no matter what. Sounds like a you problem. You don’t like that you need to take responsibility for your own skill set.

In all of destiny titans have consistently been one of the best classes with the highest win rates. They've also had some of the most busted exotics the game has ever seen, while warlocks and hunters have had their moments, titans take the cake for busted bs. Even your hunter and titan have nearly identical KDs. Hunter jump has the lowest skill floor since everyone knows double jump and rogue cowboy tends to be a more popular archetype than brick shithouse. I am a hunter main and even after thousands of hours my titan has a higher kd than my hunter. I really shouldn't be putting this much effort into this comment to be honest, I should just have left it at "typical a titan main complaining about hunters, a tale as old as time" but im hoping the conversation can be more nuanced than "mehhh fug hunters" and "meh fug titans" Edit: yeah response is abt what you'd expect from the forum.

Hunters are very underwhelming in a variety of ways in comparison to the other two classes. Hunters have, what, 2 actually viable supers for all-round activities? The weighted knife is just flat-out skill (yes, I also die to it often) and nobody can say anything about the dodge when Warlocks get a rift that heals/buffs them and Titans can hide behind a shield they can shoot through and gain OS. Not to mention exotics, that’s pretty of which Hunters have very little viable selection of because the community bickered and whined them all into the Cosmodrome’s rusted soil. Hunters? We jump and dodge, that’s pretty much it. Golden Gun’s six-rounder loses its one-tap after about 50m unless it’s a headshot. Blade Barrage is good for PvE and that’s basically it, otherwise it’s a shutdown super. People are complaining but the reality of it is this; Hunters generally use gunplay and agile tactics to outplay the other two classes, very little actually boils down to abilities or supers. [b]So, to people who’re blaming their poor performance on Hunters, grow up. Stop crying just because a Hunter won’t stand perfectly still to compensate for your skill issues.[/b]
