Failed to download configuration files from Bungie servers
Please try again. For more information, visit help.bungie.net and search for error code: nightingale.
There is also like Faild to reach Bungie servers. This is the thired day of this issue. Chat gpt did not help.
My tries sum up from GPT
Platform: Epic Games (PC)
Error: “Servers are not available” (appears on the title screen when trying to connect)
The game was working previously, but I can no longer log into Destiny 2. Bungie’s server status page shows no global outage.
What I have already tried:
Verified game files in Epic Games Launcher.
Restarted Epic Games Launcher.
Restarted the PC multiple times.
Restarted my router.
Signed out and back into Epic Games.
Ran ipconfig /flushdns and netsh winsock reset, then rebooted.
Cleared Epic Games Launcher web cache.
Deleted Destiny 2 local preference/cache files.
Ran Epic Games Launcher as Administrator.
Network checks:
Ethernet connection (no Wi-Fi available).
ping bungie.net succeeds (29–30 ms, 0% packet loss).
ping www.epicgames.com succeeds (32 ms, 0% packet loss).
Bungie.net is reachable from my browser.
Epic Games shows build/version 11329760.
The error persists after all troubleshooting steps. Any help would be appreciated, especially if this could be related to Epic authentication or a regional connectivity issue.
Any suggestions?
