So, I'm working on my first Tank kit...
Essentially the idea is... can you stack enough resist and maintain it easily enough to where nothing can really touch you?
Like a real MMO Tank build.
I'm gamecrafting on Hunter, I just finished the armor.
There's a couple directions you might possibly go.
1. Is the Class (Cyrtarachne) item - everyone does this
2. The boots (Fortune's Favor) - at first this was where my mind was at, because it's 70%... and for most content it would work.
3. The Chest... (Gifted Conviction) that's it I think.
And what inspired the topic title... IS, as I'm putting it together it occurred to me that there's not enough cross class synergy being used.
Ionic Sentry is a such a great combo for Hunter with the chest exotic.
Because I have Ascension. But the more Jolt the better. What Sentry synergy allows for is the ability to really push brutal difficulty.
The Warlock deploying Ionic Sentry wherever the Hunter is.
Anywho... Kinda' of teaser for another Hunter kit.
It doesn't require a Warlock... but Ionic Sentry does make the kit better.
And I know the Chest has kits, I'm pretty sure mine will be different because tbh, I don't know exactly what I'm doing with it yet.
I know Prismatic, but I don't know if it's going to use a sword or not. If so, I might go Ergo Sum.
Or Lament, just finished that Catalyst and a great source for durability.
I haven't decided on the Super or the artifact. I don't know if I'm going "dynamic" or static with the Nessus proc. There's 2 ways to do it... Decay essentially puts the cadence on autopilot to some degree...
Or you can go static, where your armor charges won't decay... so you can essentially proc the resist more mindfully. You can't run surges or Fonts to do this.
And the dilemma I have with that is:
1. Surges are good value
2. I only hit 140 weapons
3. My Super won't do DPS... whether I choose Strand, Stasis, or Solar
If I can get so Tanky where I can't be hurt, that's great and all... except there's timers in some stuff.
Anywho part deux, I'm just taking a little break... my mind is spinning over the possibilities.
I want this kit to work in Ultimate Conquests, that's my goal.
