Why can’t writers help themselves? Can’t go two gd seconds without some obnoxious quip.
And if you’re gonna re-record lines, why make them worse? The deliveries 9 times out of 10 lack any kind of subtlety, and the tone is so off the characters feel completely different. I swear it’s like the VA director was strapped to a chair and forced to watch the “They fly now!” scene on loop.
Opening on Captain Robert F. Keyes Jr. shitting bricks did not restore any hope after the new Avengers: Boarding Action missions.
Game’s fine otherwise. It’s just physically painful how royally the Marvel school of writing has -blam!- over films and games.

1 ReplyIt takes an amazing level of ignorance to take a juggernaut IP and royal screw it up. Yet here we are, unsurprisingly..

But when I was playing the first mission I was sat thinking “man I should just go play CE on MCC” The cutscenes just feel so off….they’re pretty, but I don’t like the voice acting, and things just feel off in them? Idk how to describe it, but there’s awkward pauses between lines where it just feels like one of them has missed their cue, or that the cutscene is dragging too long etc. As an example, when keys decides that he wants to activate the Cole protocol and have everyone abandon ship it’s just so…off, he just goes “Alright then”……..walks towards the wall…………………….and THEN speaks, it’s just so weird and unnatural.
