Saitonia's Retribution The Final Arc: Episode 17: The Showdown for Gladiatorial King

(August 18th, around 11 A.M. A pro-Liomage rally is taking place on the cusp of Sakrisen's most popular intersecting city hub, like a Times Square, known as Saitranovian Arc Junction. From on top of a building, Clockshot looks down at the activists.) Clockshot: *to himself* The pro-Liomagers and Euchrons are pushing back, it seems. *Out of nowhere, CYOKONA's personal army emerges through a pink portal, pointing energy rifles and shotguns at the activists, in a way to tell them to end the rally. The activists become reluctant, even going as far as advancing closer to the personal army, but some of CYOKONA's personal soldiers fire in the direction of the activists, causing them to step back while still maintaining resiliency.* Clockshot: Oh, they intended to miss. If whoever this army is wanted to massacre the activists, there would've been a bloodbath seconds ago. *A screen cuts to a broadcast of the commencement of Roman's and Molgorath's historical battle at the Vaisilithion Coliseum, catching Clock's attention.* Clockshot: Hopefully, I wasn't away for too long. Haven't heard the name "Roman Deiphamos in years. ___________ (Seconds later, at the group mansion, with the twins, annihilator twins, Cat, Kav, Van, Kyo, Sakiro, Kaburo, Anna, Alexa, and the newly-invited Shiraita.) Cathera: *holding the door open for Shiraita, whose the last to arrive* We're glad to have you come along, Shiraita. *to the group* I'm sure you remember Shiraita from the SFT/VCO collaboration event. So, why not I'd invite her in? Get to know each other a little more. Vandren: *suspiciously* Yeah, I remember her, a little too much to where I almost called her by a different name. Kyokia: Thought I was looking at a ghost or something. Shiraita: *breathy, repressed chuckle* I'm all too aware. I went to the same academy. *Some of the group reacts with low gasps upon hearing a tidbit of Shiraita's history, strengthening a coincidental connection between her and the late Himeki.* Anna: That's insane. You don't have to tell us, at least for now. We don't want you bringing up any past traumas. Shiraita: *looking down at Sai, saying hesitantly* And...I finally get to meet you, Saitonia. Heard some very notable things about you. Saitonia: Honored to meet you, Shiraita. Not letting eerie resemblances define who you are, it seems. Kavita: *turning to a Channel Starseek broadcast of a VCO broadcast displaying the commencement of Roman vs. Molgorath* It's King "We're Vaisallon!" vs. a former Vaisallon king. *raspy breather* About to begin. Kyokia: Oh yeah, it's like 6 or 7 P.M. over there (in Vaisallon Regions). Saitonia: What tricks will Roman be pulling in his mainland? I know he'll do something that'll dishonor it. ___________ (The live VCO broadcast, inside the Vaisilithion Coliseum. It's absolutely enormous, at 850 ft long and 760 ft wide, it's easily noticeable when flying over Vaisilithius. Up to a million spectators came to watch this legendary battle.) Aredeses: *in Greek* (Evening...) *in English* "motherlanders". (After an amazing lineup of battles, we finally bring to you a prestigious one that will be boasted on in the history books for all eternity!) *The native Vaisallian crowd cheers intensely.* Aredeses: (This is a battle that determines who claims the throne tomorrow. Could we see the throne be retained or shifted to the other? Why now I quit rambling and bring our contestants down?) *Behind one of the entrances, Roman stands in the middle, with his loyalists all around him.* Roman: So Grandmaster, what exactly did you and Queen Thesinia conspire to? Grandmaster Riuno: *sly chuckle* In that contract, your signature failed to register, meaning Molgorath won't have anyone at his aid. You won't need outside assistance anyway neither, let's just ensure Molgorath doesn't try to call for any. Aeriyos: *adding to the conversion* That implies he even has any allies left. Aredeses: (I bring you the challenger, the former Vaisallian Gladiatorial King; Erodos Molgorath!) *The massive entrance door slides upward, revealing Molgorath, all alone. He walks slowly, yet confidently to the battle zone. Technicians don't rely on mechanical systems for fireworks, just their natural energy manipulation to fire a sequence of explosive, red energy beams, which conclude right as Molgorath steps right inside the battle zone.* ________ (Same time, back at the group mansion. Sai is hyper fixated on the TV, just waiting for Aredeses to introduce Roman.) Ainotias: You're a little tense, brother. You do get pretty vengeful. Sage: Sai, please don't blast the TV when you see Roman. These display 16K resolution, which costs like 100,000 zepiks. _________ (Back at the Vaisilithion Coliseum, the crowd goes silent, and the atmosphere gets heavy.) Aredeses: *in Greek, with pure precision* (And now. 26-time Spartiate Crown winner, the most indomitable force amongst leaders of Terranoviatia; an untitled Arckyvus Divine, most surely on a higher level than any divine. If Terranova or Dyavolo ever stepped up this Vaisallian godliness, they rather sink to levels below and go fight some mere peasant from Saitranovia. His presence alone rewrites realities upon realities. If there was an incarnation made solely for this deity, the Arckyve would give up its entire power, making HIM the new Arckyve.) _______ (Same time, back at the group mansion, Kav is clearly getting annoyed at Aredeses' over-praising, which is still continuing.) Kavita: Oh my Arckyve, shut the *intense voice cracking* fuUUuuuck up, biiiiIIIIiiitch...*heavy, raspy exhale* and introduce him already. Alexa: Sai, was she throwing shots at you when she mentioned "mere peasant from Saitranovia"? Saitonia: You can guarantee. She's lucky I didn't punch through this damn screen. Ugh, I can hop in the time pod, teleport over there, and claw her throat out, but I'll be patient. _______ (Back at the Vaisilithion Coliseum) Aredeses: ROMAAAAAAAAAAAAN....DEIPHAMOOOOOOOOOOOS! *The crowd bursts into loud cheers in support of the current Gladiatorial King. Roman's entrance opens up, and he emerges, walking down the walkway as his loyalists and armored dogs surround him. Technicians use their energy abilities to fire creative blue beams and explosive blasts throughout the sky, where neighboring mainlands can also see, and it's a clear bias that Roman is more favored, seeing that more effort is put into the energy fireworks, which conclude as Roman steps into the battle zone. Molgorath, arms crossed, signals Roman's loyalists to go away, and while they do step back, they don't leave the zone entirely.* Roman: No! No! *in Greek* (You don't give them orders. They don't listen to you, they listen to me!) *to his loyalists* (Okay. I got this, you all. Head back to the seats.) _________ (From the throne room in the Vaisilithius Dominion, Gladiatorial Queen Thesinia sitting elegantly on her throne, watches the broadcast.) Thesinia: *in Greek, to herself* (My king doesn't even need assistance in his battles. He never really did. Them Saitranovians were just such jokes. Molgorath will see TRUE Vaisallian spirit.) _________ (Back at the group mansion:) Saitonia: Molgorath, you better not fail. Give him some hell while I'm away. Shiraita: *hearing what Sai said, replying lowly to Cat* Oh, so is he the type to enact unyielding revenge. Cathera: *replying back to Shiraita* Mhm. It's amazing how it kept him alive for so long. _________ (At the Vaisilithion Coliseum) Aredeses: *in Greek* (Let....this...match.....BEGIIIIIIIINNNNN) _______ *Continuing Below*

 • *Continued Below* [FLASHBACK] (August 3rd, a couple weeks prior to the historical battle, Roman and Molgorath are attending a press conference inside a large, spacious, arena stage boardroom within theVaisilithion Coliseum, fitting up to a thousand seats surrounding the stage, while thousands more sit in the bleachers, watching on a large screen levitating in the air. The conference was organized by the Grandmaster Synedrion for the 2 to "express their thoughts" on each other's run as Gladiatorial King.) *Roman and Molgorath are sitting across from each other.* Grandmaster Aronoseus: *in Greek* (Any last few opinions to share before the conference ends? Share them here.) Molgorath: *in Greek, to Roman* (Nothing much. You're a false king. You were rushed to the throne because citizens and several government figures were so desperate to see a family lineage bound close in regards to the timeline of the Gladiatorial King position. So stuck in the Deiphamos Regime Period, which became irrelevant the day you were born. And ever since Vaisallon Regions discovered "Spartos' son", standards to claim the throne has lowered and even manipulated or warped. And I will rectify that; reclaiming what I've never lawfully lost; my throne and my status as Gladiatorial King.) Roman: *in Greek* (You finished, has-been?) *in English* Are you actually that much of a stupid-ass, out-of-touch, cave-dwelling fool? *in Greek* (Now I'm not the one to gloat over the past, but fail to learn from it, doomed to repeat it. You represent a desperate attempt of neo-progression that eventually turns into regression, and you seem to fail to realize that some traditions are everlasting foundations, meaning they worked decades to centuries ago and still hold in the modern ages. If it's lawfully your throne, why didn't any Grandmaster dispute the process? Why was there no Queen to- Oh wait, you didn't have a Gladiatorial Queen. That seat in the Vaisilithius Dominion? That's my throne, a rightfully earned one, with A QUEEN by my side. *pointing to Grandmaster Riuno, who is standing to his right* This noble figure? My Grandmaster. *pointing out his loyalists* My loyal Spartiates. These citizens? They waited for me to claim that throne, they saw my potential, which is why I'm always getting thunderous ovations, and not half a mainland praying on my demise. Grigon Liomage, take note.) *The crowd, inside and outside the Vaisilithion Coliseum, burst into cheers, stances favoring Gladiatorial King Roman.* Roman: *in English* So, Erodos...*in Greek* (I will NOT let my Grandmaster Synedrion, my throne, my Spartiates, my people down in this battle. No prayer to the Vaisallon divines will grant you half the chance at claiming the Gladiatorial King position from me. See you on the 18th.) [FLASHBACK OVER] __________ (Present Time) [FIGHT SEQUENCE] *A dual-colored, massive, blue and red explosion goes off, slightly causing a shockwave within the coliseum. Roman and Molgorath reposition themselves, jumping far back from each other on opposite sides before launching at each other again, the 2 simultaneously teleporting just the few feet within that they were going to impact with each other, reappearing higher in the air, both firing a large and wide energy beam at each other, the 2 beams come at a struggle before merging and unleashing a huge explosion. Roman teleports down on Molgorath in attempts to deliver his signature ruinous punch, but Molgorath hooks Roman's right arm with his own right arm, countering and landing the first punch with a well-placed, impactful blow around the rib and kidney area, gripping Roman's face, firing a quick, dark red energy blast with that same hand, then throwing Roman onto the ground of the combat zone, causing pieces to fly off.* *Still in the midst of being sent flying from the attack, Roman plants his hand onto the ground, using that hand to spring him back. Molgorath strikes suddenly from the front of Roman, who swiftly blocks the strike with a holographic, blue energy barrier that bursted when Molgorath struck. Roman fires a swift blast to Molgorath's midsection as a distraction, countering with a rapid but powerful jab to the face, teleporting away and reappearing on top of Molgorath, charging up energy for a couple seconds before firing downward, Molgorath only being sent sliding, but not leaving his feet.* *Roman reappears to Molgorath's side, who quickly reacts with by catching Roman's elbow, then hooking his leg to Roman's when Roman attempted a leg sweep. Molgorath tightly locks his arm around Roman's neck, using his other arm to land a haymaker that knocks Roman to the ground. Molgorath is on top, landing down energy-fueled blow after blow, ending it with an explosive, double axe handle that sends Roman flying. Roman lands, slightly propping his body up. When he looks up, he sees that Molgorath has teleported up in the air and is about to rain down a tremendous energy bomb from his fist, so Roman zooms up just as the energy bomb is fired, swiftly hitting Molgorath with his signature ruinous punch, though Molgorath is unscathed as he quickly rolls back to his feet.* ______ (Back at the group mansion.) Ainotias: I don't see Roman's little henchmen sneaking in. Cathera: Don't jinx it, Aino. Saitonia: Doesn't matter. Whatever battle damages Molgorath will give Roman won't be even half a fraction of what I'll do to him when I catch him. ________ (Back with the battle) *Roman unloads a flurry of rapid, teleportation punches onto Molgorath, in which to him, feels more of an annoyance than physically damaging. Molgorath perfectly times an explosion around his body to counter Roman's next teleportation punch, and while the explosion doesn't do any physical damage, it does deplete Roman's energy temporarily, giving Molgorath the perfect chance to unleash a destructive combo of his own. Loads of energy-fueled blows, kicks, forearms, and knees sent towards Roman before ending the combo by summoning his unique, large battle axe, which has glowing, crimson blades, and a long, black and silver handle. Molgorath charges up one powerful swing, striking Roman, sending him crashing towards one side of the coliseum, a massive quake and shockwave follow a second later.* ____ (Group mansion) Saitonia: *showing relief* Great. *serious tone* Keep going, Molgorath. ____ (Back with the battle) Roman: *touching the long laceration across his torso* Ohh, now I'm going off. *Energy bursts abruptly around Roman's body, forming an intense, blue and gold aura, enhancing his abilities. Roman then teleports at light speed, reappearing over Molgorath with an overhand blow that Molgorath blocks by a millisecond. Roman teleports again and unleashes light-speed barrage punches, some actually managing to land, though Molgorath tanks the hits. Molgorath enters an equal offense, the 2 now trading attacks at insanely rapid teleportation sequences around the combat zone, throwing off most of the spectators. 9 seconds later, Roman fires a distraction blast to Molgorath's torso, reappearing behind him and landing a devastating, overhead ruinous punch, followed by a powerful blue/gold energy beam, sending Molgorath crashing onto the ground.* *Smoke clears and Molgorath is kneeled, giving Roman another attempt to capitalize by shifting into a blue energy torpedo. As he unleashes his ultimate attack, he's suddenly caught in torpedo form, by a cloud of red energy that slows him down. Molgorath activated a vital defense ability at the last split second. As Roman is forced to shift back to base form, still suspended mid-air, Molgorath grips his head, squeezing hard enough to slightly shatter some facial bone, placing his other hand behind to fire a massive red energy beam, emitting a ginormous explosion that shakes the entire coliseum.* ______ (At the group mansion, everyone inside delivers some kind of praise to Molgorath's current performance.) Saitonia: Impressive. Don't slip now, Molgorath. Take back your rightful throne. ______ (Back with the battle) *Red smoke clears up, showing Roman on his knees, heavily breathing as his Vaisallian blood trickles down his face and mouth.* Roman: *in Greek* (Well then. I was waiting for the fight to go there. It ain't a VCO battle if the combatants are at an inch of their life.) *He places his energy-fueled hand over his heart, blue and gold energy slowly emitting around Roman's entire body.* Roman: *heavy breather before replying in Greek* (Prepare...for perfected Vaisallian spirit.) [FIGHT SEQUENCE OVER] ________________ END:
