It's end of service FFS, I still don't get why you refuse to just open match making for everything... FTF was a massive failure, the old LFG was better but for the love of god just give everything matchmaking... People that don't want to engage with it can switch it off...
I still don't get why you refuse to just open match making for everything...
Mostly because it's a stupid idea.

Because there was an option to for raids for literal years. Nobody used it, it became a massive joke, and Bungie agreed that the metrics were really bad and scrapped it… Guided Games RIP. Matchmaking can work for *some* Dungeons if it was a toggle option so randoms aren’t constantly filling your party if someone disconnects. But Matchmade raids and GMs have never been a good idea. The small bar to entry goes a long way

So you realize its END OF SERVICE yet still ask for stuff that won't happen lol
-
We've been asking since the portal and EoF....and Bungie said "no" pretty clearly. Look where that got them 🤣

Agree...

That's why you barely play raids and dungeons.

Exactly end of service as in no one's in charge is gonna allow more work outside of maintaining servers until they can legally shut the servers down with no issues.

Edited by Cryen-7: 7/28/2026 9:47:07 AMWorld of Warcraft has raids that have matchmaking. Its years since I played last time WoW so dont know latest info, but back in the days LFG raids difficulty was easier and the loot was not best in slot, but enough for most.

Because it's Bungie and they "idea" of people unite into clans. Thoughts of adding filters for players like: how many times person completed specific raid, have exotic gear, language choice, power level and etc. Those things obvious, why they didn't do it - mystery.

too late, games done.
