Crossplay
Hello Bungie Team,
I am trying to play my characters I had on my ps4 on same account now on ps5. My characters didn’t get transferred over and are not showing on the cross play. I believe the last time I played was around 2014/2015.
If you can help bring my characters over from the ps4 version of destiny 2, that would be greatly appreciated.

You have over 450 hours in the original Destiny on three characters. Cross Play (playing with people on other platforms) and Cross Save (sharing characters from one platform to another) have nothing to do with this, it is just one single PSN account. Characters who met certain requirements were automatically migrated to Destiny 2 in 2017, but it seems there was also a time limit that you had to start using them. If you are not seeing anything when you launch on PS5 then the characters either didn't meet the migration criteria or some kind of time limit elapsed. In any case, there is no way to re-trigger this process. In addition, the only thing that was migrated was character appearance - no gear or weapons, but there were a few exclusive veteran emblems.
