What’s The Deal With Increasing Power Level
Post deleted. Apparently asking about power level summons the rudest people in these forums.

3 RepliesIgnore the toxic trash with no friends. They don't have any say. Leveling can be done passively, though fairly slowly, yet it's the most enjoyable way to level. Farm for weapons and armor that you like and you're multitasking. Have fun and you're being a thousand times more productive than when you're grinding monotonously. But if you simply want to speedrun 550 Power, the best ways have been pretty consistant since Edge of Fate: Watching tv while Eager Edging through solo ops. Personally I would do Crucible. PvP gives a few pieces of gear (which you can focus) when you do well, so that's a good way to level up that's less tedious. If you don't have all of the crafted weapons from exotic missions, I also recommend you play those. You get rewards after certain points in those missions, and you get Deepsite weapons at the end of them. Plenty of rewarding gear from these. I wish you the best of luck in leveling, Guardian.

I just saw you deleted your post, because of crappy replies. Don't listen to them. Not everyone can know everything. But like I said in my previous reply, I feel like crucible is the quickest way. I don't really do PvE often, but recently I went and tried some public events and PvE quick play lists and I was thinking, "Man, how do people level up and get weapons from this?" I would get maybe 1 legendary engram for each activity that took around 20 minutes, but in crucible, I get 3-4 legendary drops from each match, and they're always tier 4 or 5, and that's after every 10 minute match.

I've always leveled pretty quickly just playing crucible. You get tons of drops and they're always higher.

1 Replysemi-curious....what's the hurry? there is nothing in game that requires you to be 550, so just take your time. you'll get there when you get there. then you'll be getting so much 550 gear you won't know what to do with and you'll start complaining about vault space....*sigh*.....LOL
