Stormtrance has been behind compared to the other arc roaming supers being arc staff and fist of havoc. After testing these 2, they both have an uptime of 20 seconds and have less drainage, comparing that with stormtrance of only 16 seconds and a lot more drainage. It is clear and you can definitely feel it compared to its counterparts.
The biggest issue is that stormtrance does not get enough time to make an impact and actually be a 'roaming super', it is not that the super is bad, it is good, but needs a bit of tuning and this is based of facts and numbers for it to actually be a full roaming super like arc staff and fist of havoc. A roaming super needs time to move around the map, find targets, positioning and decision making, by the time stormtrance closes a distance to someone, a SIGNIFICANT portion is already gone and the super is pretty much already gone.
Stormtrance also lacks the identity it once had, instead of simply increasing its damage, bungie could bring back the idea of rewarding players for their ability management, does this ring a bell? TRANSCENDENCE. Integrating transcendence into the super itself, a player who invests into charging their abilities before using their super can be rewarded by increased super efficiency, longer duration, reduced energy drain. This would make it last longer than its counterparts which I think some players would find unfair. Therefor, alternatively, tuning the super and making it last 20 seconds like the other arc roaming supers and reduced drain like the other arc roaming supers would bring it back up to speed for it to be enjoyable again. I am not saying to just buff warlock super, but comparing it to its counterparts it is the odd one out and most definitely feels this way, having reduced drain from attacking or teleporting and making the super last 20 seconds just like the other 2 arc roaming supers, would be the perfect and fair tune. As of right now looking at the numbers of arc staff and fist of havoc, it certainly is in the dust, uneven, and left out. Stormtrance should feel like a true roaming super again that lets players actually roam like the other 2, not a super that ends as soon as you close a gap and are about to be effective.
So please Bungie, please see this and tune it, PLEASE.

Edited by Soul_Eater_42: 7/22/2026 7:25:56 PMThere are no devs left to make any changes. All that's left are a few people to maintain the servers. The rest are stuck working on Marathon, and even some of them were let go. They don't have enough people to re-tune and test anything anymore. That last patch we got 2 weeks ago was all we're getting.

The 5 or so people working there don't have the "know-how" to make such changes, or the time to read these forms. They have to focus on cleaning bathrooms and mopping floors.
