Hello bungie, 90 days is a very long time to relink to new steam account, is there no other way?
Hello bungie guys amazing game thank you, can you help us with this issue. His xbox(main) account has been linked somehow to an old steam account he hasnt used in years. Now on his new pc he made a new steam account and would like to play destiny 2 again with the boys but he would have to reset. The procedure seems to be disabling cross save and waiting 3 whole months then relinking to his new steam. But by then will we even be alive who knows i dont know only God knows. Can you help us expedite this 90 day waiting thing would be nice of you lowkey thanks regardless.

Hi there. As of March 2025 account linking update, it is no longer possible to unlink or swap platform account links. The Steam account linked to his Bungie profile cannot be switched to another, regardless if Cross Save were disabled. He will have to use the old account and if he has any issues logging into it, he will need to contact Steam Support for assistance. Bungie also does not make exceptions to the 90-day cooldown when players disable Cross Save.
