Hi Bungie Help.
I live in Italy, and since the Monument of Triumph update the game has become extremely unstable in terms of network connectivity.
Starting from early June, the success rate for launching any activity without triggering the Currant error is below 20%. In some cases, I’ve spent over 15–20 minutes just trying to load into the Tower or launch any activities. Other Italian players reported the same issue, all beginning right after the update.
My connection is stable. I have never experienced problems like this since Destiny 2 launched in 2017. I use an FTTH line from TIM, and I tested two different modems (FritzBox 7590 AX and Technicolor AGMY2020), both showing identical results.
Thank for the Support

1 ReplyEdited by Crisidelm: 7/20/2026 1:15:32 PMI'm in the same boat; unfortunately, the only solution I could find is to use a VPN, but many VPNs make your NAT type Strict in Destiny 2, which in turn makes matchmaking impossible. Luckily, there are a couple of VPNs that make your NAT Type Moderate instead, which allows for matchmaking. For instance, PrivadoVPN and WindScribe are those I tested working: they also have free plans (limited to 10Gb per month and a restricted selection of Countries) so you can also test and see if they work for you too. They are working for me to avoid Centipede/Currant errors (side note, 1 hour of Destiny 2 gameplay usually consumes 250Mb of data).
