Take stuff out the content vault already.
Now that we have all this funky new stuff with the final update how about giving us old timers the option to play content we initially got this game for? Like the Red War? Maybe even some Forsaken stuff??
We all know its a management issue (they're delusional) and the people there to make a great game are creatively throttled and ordered to make whatever collabslop upper management thought would pay off. All the new guns and stuff look crisp as usual so kuddos to the animators and coders etc.
Not asking for a reshuffle of the solar system so we can get old Mars back for example. Just asking to seriously consider earning more good will with a community that despises you enough already.

you can't play something that no longer exists bungie deleted all of that years ago that's why they had to use youtuber videos as "Evidence" when they were being sued for plagiarism

47 RepliesA. No one left to bring it back. B. A lot of it would need rebuilding from the ground up and would take years to do and wouldn't get green lit due to costs that wouldn't get re covered. C. Everything pre beyond light is gone. To bring back everything in the DCV destiny 2 would need to be extremely healthy and stable.

I wish they had done that with the final update, I think it would've given D2 a proper sendoff. Unfortunately it's not going to happen now since the devs are gone.

The Red War ? In May last year Tyson Green told a court (testimony related to a now settled lawsuit) that “Bungie cannot feasibly provide the Court with the original Destiny 2 game as it existed in 2017, including the accused ‘Red War’ and ‘Curse of Osiris’ campaigns, in any operable or reviewable form. Nor will Bungie be able to produce the accused campaigns in operable or reviewable form if this matter proceeds to formal discovery.” This is far too soon after that to suddenly be able to make Red War playable again. Obviously on top of that, staff have been laid off and Destiny 2 is now in maintenance mode having had its last content update in June. So even it were legally possible it still wouldn’t happen.

I wish they allowed the things like Luna's calling quests from shadow keep, sabotage from beyond light, hidden ones reports and parasite mission from witch queen and the blue quests from lightfall be replayable on alts. Cause I loved them. Make it optional. Have a box on the vendor saying if U want to skip them
