The text below is an AI summary of what I tried, and managed to debug. It's now been 10 hours of back and forth, and I'm burnt out.

Hi everyone, I am experiencing a severe networking issue that makes me constantly teleport/lag in the eyes of my fireteam members and matchmade teammates. When interacting with public flags (Rallying to the Flag), it takes anywhere from 1.5 to 3 full seconds for my ammo and super to fill. However, my download stream is completely fine—I can see other players moving perfectly smoothly around me.
This issue started out of nowhere a week ago without any hardware or ISP changes on my end.
Through extensive troubleshooting, I have discovered a bizarre link between the game's simulation engine and network packet dispatching at high framerates (144+ FPS) on high-end hardware.
My Hardware Specs:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080
- Motherboard: ASUS B650E MAX GAMING WIFI
- Ethernet Chip: Realtek RTL8125 2.5GbE Controller (Running native Win11 24H2 drivers, no Armoury Crate/GameFirst network optimization software installed).
- Platform tested: Both Steam and Microsoft Store (Xbox App) versions.
The Game-Changing Discovery (Framerate Tie):
- At 60 FPS (In-game Cap): The issue completely disappears. My teammates see me moving perfectly normally, and Rally Flags interact instantly.
- At 144 FPS / Uncapped (around 400 FPS on Steam): Teammates see me constantly stuttering/teleporting. The Rally Flag interaction delay increases drastically up to 3 seconds.
- Microsoft Store vs. Steam: The Steam version suffers from aggressive framerate drops/stutters. Moving to the Microsoft Store version completely fixed the visual framerate (perma-stuck at 144 FPS), but the P2P networking teleports/lag remained exactly the same for my teammates at 144Hz.
Network Diagnostic Tests Performed (All Clean):
To rule out my router and Internet Service Provider (Vodafone Portugal Fiber), I performed advanced network stress tests while playing:
1. Bufferbloat Test: Scored an "A" grade with zero continuous packet degradation under full upload/download simulation.
2. Packet Loss Test: 0.0% Upload Loss, 0.0% Download Loss, 0.0% Late Packets.
3. Pathping to Bungie Server: Run via CMD directly to matchmaking server nodes (190.93.244.5). Results returned 0% packet loss directly at the Bungie destination hop with an average RTT of 2ms.
4. Wireshark Packet Capture: Captured over 28,000 live network packets during a 144 FPS lag/teleport session. Wireshark recorded 0 network errors, 0 dropped frames, and 0 TCP/UDP retransmissions. Outbound P2P traffic on ports like 3074 was completely green and healthy.
5. Speedtest results show stable 500mb down and 100mb up, with 2ms ping.
=============================
Back to the human. Ya, idk why or, how. But, it started randomly, didnt touch my hardware, then a few days ago I had a bunch of people tell me in a raid they saw me teleporting everywhere and falling through the ground.
From my perspective, most things look okay, except for the delay interacting with flag, or picking up claimer brand in kingsfall. But it's still annoying doing a raid and my teammates not being able to tell where I am cuz I look like a taken ad, teleporting around.
