What I figured out thus far. Tier 3s from the bounties. If it says eclipse zone that doesn't mean distortions... it means the featured map section. If it says empire hunt, and you don't want to fight rushers for adds... the portal works. Tier 4s from heroic public events out of the distortion timer. Tier 5s from heroic public events during the distortions. Finally, the one thing I haven't tested yet... are Empire Hunts... I think it might drop from Empire Hunts... either from the node or in the Portal at max difficulties. 😇👍💠 My best one I got from a bounty... I just tiered it up. Oh... sry... the strat. DON'T do the distortion events after the PEs. Just do the Heroic PE then leave and go do another... rinse and repeat. And I'm not 100% on this, but it might be weighted daily for weapon drops... one day I was getting mostly RLs... the fusion another day, any weapon can drop... but I think it's weighted towards one and changes every day.
